I am new to MOSS but we are considering moving quite a large collection of old legacy data to a MOSS implementation automatically or semi-automatically. The legacy data is in SGML/XML from another content management system. I want to import this structure into MOSS. I can create any XML that I like from it, using perl scripts on a unix system and just transforming the existing legacy data into something I can import in MOSS and from then on maintain it there. The legacy data is highly structured, has reuse of components, etc.
Does anyone know how to go about this? I have seen in importer framework at codeplex, but it talks about a common XML format for the import without describing said format.
