SharePoint User Group UK

Hi All,

I am getting an acess denied error while accessing sharepoint site as a normal user (with read only permission). I have checked with all the webparts I have on the homepage of the site but there is not any problem in it. It used to work fine before last week.

Sometime it does allow me to access the homepage but if I refresh the page couple of times, it gives me the access denied error message means It is letting me in and after few seconds it is throwing me out

Sharepoint site authentication is based on Kerberos

Any ideas!!!!!!!!!

Does it work if you login with admin user rights? Also have you tried cancelling the authentication prompt to see if it gives you the majority of the page but an image is restrcted for example.

Hi Jenny,

Sorry for delay in reply, I finally managed to solve the problem. I disconnected the database and reattach it to web application and it worked. Don't if this is the correct solution or not but I'm still not clear with the cause of this error.
